On the 27th April 2016 John Curtis (CEO of Revolutionall) was invited to talk at IOT//EDI about his smart building and smart car project (see below). He is one of the UK’s leading low carbon transport experts, marketeers and journalists. He's also a motoring columnist for the Daily Record, and a regular guest on BBC Scotland. He studied law at the University of Edinburgh and was the Head of Sustainable Transport for the Scottish Government working on a number of high profile low carbon transport programmes using his policy experience and commercial skills to solve transport problems for businesses. Emma Maclean (WEB3//IOT) and John had an emotional "fireside chat" that covered a range of intimate topics.
Revolutionall World will be a state-of-the-art transport centre and visitor attraction located adjacent to the Kelpies in Falkirk (check out this video: http://bit.ly/1VJQXBP). When it opens to the public it will become a centre of excellence for low carbon innovation that will attract millions of visitors from around the world. It will even feature a race track designed specifically for vehicles powered by renewable energy!
