IT'S BEEN A WEEK SINCE MWC, AND I'M STILL EXHAUSTED!

Mobile World Congress took place in Barcelona from the 22nd-25th February 2016, and remains the world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry. Here are a few of my favourite products of the show. The reason why I was fortunate enough to be there, was that my business partner and I, together with some of the UK's most exciting technology companies, were selected to join a British delegation organised by Scottish Development International (SDI), and United Kingdom Trade & Industry (UKTI).
Nautilus Beam, the company Dr Tim Willis and I co-founded together has developed a text input solution called Tusi that has been designed specifically for smartwatches, so my primary objective for being at MWC was not to cover the event, but instead, to work hard in a bus dev capacity to license our technology to smartwatch OEMs. This of course meant my ability to generate content, and live broadcast, and blog throughout MWC was severely hampered. I will therefore endeavour to upload more photos and videos within the next couple of days, so sincerest apologies for not sharing them sooner.

During the event I was, however able to spot a few key industry trends, which I shared with my IoT Meetup Group in Edinburgh a couple of days after I returned from Barcelona. The video and accompanying slides of my talk not only offered a first-hand account of the insanity that is MWC from my own personal perspective, but also an overview of what went down at the show, and a few of my own personal insights. If you'd like to view my talk, simply go to youtube.com/web3iot, or click on the link below, or head over to my MWC journal.

I promise that over the next couple of days more MWC goodness will follow...
