Movies and TV shows can be streamed via HDMI media devices such as those produced by Amazon (Fire), Google (Chromecast), and Roku. In addition, music can be streamed from a tablet or smartphone. Depending on which model you buy, battery life ranges from 4-8hrs (movie watching), and 28-56hrs (music streaming). Flilcks can be used in the home or office, and could also be the ideal gadget for camping trips, beach parties or music concerts. It will of course need to be kept undercover, and a large surface or projection screen will also be required. The company behind this portable cinema is Dashbon have exceeded their campaign target on Indiegogo. The pre-order price ranges from $449/£292 (early bird) to $579/£399 depending on spec. International shipping will be available for an additinoal $40/£26. Estimated shipping date is June 2015.
