We think little wearables for little people is about to become a big growth area. In addition to the bluebooth-enabled pacifier by Blue Maestro, new kid on the block MonBaby has successfully crowdfunded their infant sleep and movement tracker.
MonBaby is a mini bluetooth-enabled disk that, once attached, can track a child's breathing, movement and sleep patterns. Data is transmitted in five second intervals to any Android or iOS device. If anything out of the ordinary occurs, a notification will immediately be sent.
MonBaby's creators believe their product will not only appeal to parents of newborn babies but also toddlers. A further segment could potentially be the elderly. The device will be available shortly with a RRP of £95 ($149).
