“We wanted flying cars, instead we got 140 characters.”
The man behind that quote is of course Peter Thiel. I happen to agree with his sentiment. Why on earth are wheels still the primary method used to transport people and products around the planet? I mean the wheel was invented in the second half of the 4th millennium BC for goodness sake!
It is difficult to predict when the wheel will eventually fall off the cart but it will happen at some point. I came across this awesome mockup on Pinterest of an Audi 'Calamaro' Concept flying car.
There are plenty more pictures of flying cars to check out but beware, I just wasted an hour looking at these darned things and now I really really want a flying car!
