The co-founder and CEO of Xmetrics, Andrea Rinaldo, is himself a professional swimmer so he clearly knows what simmers want from such a device. According to him "Xmetrics intends to become a leader in the sector of wearable technologies applied to swimming. The funding and expertise provided by Breed Reply allows Xmetrics to accelerate the process of technological innovation, making our vision and that of our clients become a reality."
Breed Reply announced that it invested £675,000 in return for 30% of the business and the project is also seeking to raise a further $50,000 on Indiegogo. Breed Reply are plan to invest in further IOT-related startups, specifically wearable technologies. As previously reported, the company recently lauched its own dedicated IOT accelerator.
